Sole SB700 Upright Bike Light Commercial

Lucky for you there’s a great sb700 bike sale. But it’s not a piece of junk either. If you surf around this site, you’ll see that the only cardio fitness i write about is sole equipment. I do mention one really inexpensive treadmill. But that’s because sole doesn’t offer any equipment on the really low end of the price spectrum.

Otherwise, i’m a sole guy and this website covers sole because it’s a great brand. Seriously, surf around the web and read about sole. The comment you’ll read over and over is that sole equipment is tough, strong, solid and durable. It’s made for performance and athletes. It doesn’t have all the bells and whistles because it doesn’t need that stuff. It’s designed for working out hard. What is the sole sb700 bike? It’s an indoor cycling bike. This isn’t your big fat cushy seat, recumbent, have a cup of coffee, read a book exercise bike. The sole sb700 is for serious cyclists and fitness enthusiasts who want to torque, tug, pull, push and beat up on their exercise bike for an crazy intense workout.

It’s bare bones, but full of performance potential exercise bike. It’s a cyclist’s bike that won’t set you back the price of a caribbean trip for two.

It’s so good, it’s also used by gyms. I get that an indoor cycle that sells for $1,600 would be good for gyms, but the sole sb700 sells for $799 and is used by gyms. Equipment for gyms and fitness centers is usually built at an entirely different level of quality because it must withstand constant use. Yes, the sb700 is designed and used in commercial and residential settings. This alone means it’s a good deal. The heart of an indoor cycle is the flywheel. That’s the big wheel at the front that drives the stride and creates resistance. A lousy, small, light flywheel makes for a lousy bike. The sb700 flywheel is a whopping 48 pounds and it’s a chrome plate wheel. The resistance is created via a turn-knob which is pretty old-school, but then this bike doesn’t have a complex on-board computer.

It’s bare-bones and built for performance. The resistance is smooth largely due to the high-quality flywheel. There’s a difference between couch comfortable and ergonomic comfortable. The sb700 is ergonomic comfortable so you’re in a position to push yourself to the max. The primary ergonomic design are the foot pedals that have a 2 degree inward angle to them for an ergonomic foot positioning.

This also helps your knees and results in better riding posture. Also, the foot pedals have straps so you can really rip. Any indoor cycle worth anything has toe straps. Thought i’d mention it nevertheless.

The seat is adjustable (ergonomic comfort), but it’s not a big cushy lounge seat; instead it’s a seat you’d find on a serious road bike. The handlebars also adjust up and down for ergonomic comfort as well as forward and backward to accommodate your height. You don’t get an onboard television, but there is a small computer that displays rpm, time, kcal, distance travelled and your speed. It can also accommodate heart rate monitoring equipment. No tv, internet, magazine rack. It’s you, your towel and water bottle. I mentioned above that sole is known for making tough equipment. That’s certainly the case with the sb700. 300 pound maximum user capacity (not bad). Frame made with heavy steel and aluminum shroud. It’s industry-speak for aluminum wrapped around the steel tubing. The primary frame material is steel. This sucker sells like crazy.

People want durable when paying hundreds of dollars for equipment. Besides, sole makes equipment for gyms and hotels.

If it’s good in a commercial setting, it’s good for your home. It’s super popular because of it’s price/performance balance.
