I have moved on to running and no longer use my Peloton Cycle enough to justify owning it. That being said the classes are awesome; I will miss them. I’ve owned this cycle since January 2016 and probably have used it about 80 times. I stopped using it when I started marathon training this past summer, and then realized that I enjoy running much more. Still runs like new, which is typical for magnet-based resistance bikes. This bike was always unplugged when not in use, and plugged into a surge protector when in use (I recommend both). The replacement screen is like new save for a small scratch, and that is not really noticeable if the display is one. I powered it on today (shown) so that it could grab the latest OS update and make sure it still worked as expected (it does). Replacing the display requires removing 4 screws and a couple of cables, similar to how a TV wall mount works. I will include weights, one set of clips for your cycling shoes, a mat, and a board to go under the mat (good if you are using the bike on carpet; gives additional stability). If you don’t have hex wrenches at home I will include ones needed for the bike (I’m assuming you have a screwdrive). For transport all you really need to do is remove the display; the rest of the bike can stay assembled little reason to disable it any further as you won’t save much space. This should not be a surprise, but you will need to start your own subscription if you want access to the live or on-demand classes. The bike will work just fine without a subscription, but to be honest that is where the true value of Peloton is. I wanted to add a comment based on two questions I have received. I have never had problems with the display. The one mounted to the bike is the original, and it has always worked perfectly. Not only that, it is rare to find parts from third parties given that these bikes are still rather new. Additionally, the ones that do many only sell you certain parts; others have to be installed by service people. This is similar to trying to get parts for your home furnace from a local vendor; more often than not those suppliers only sell to service people. Remember this Peloton display is actually an Android-based computer AND display; it has wireless, bluetooth, speakers, touchscreen, etc. My advice: Keep it. If your display dies you have a free replacement that can be installed in less than 10 minutes. You are lucky, I didn’t pay a lot for the display compared to the bike itself. More notes based on questions. Peloton offers more than just bike sessions, they also have yoga and stretching. And the bike classes are of varying length and fitness levels. Google “Peloton shoe types” for information about bike shoes. These are not regular bike pedals, they are clip ins which force you to use your legs on both the up and down stroke to ensure you get a better workout. As I said, I will include a set of (used) LOOK Delta cleats; you’ll just screw them onto your shoes. Lastly, if you really don’t want the screen I have someone who is interested in it (I obviously said it wasn’t for sale). I can’t tell you how much to charge, but you could always ask Peloton what they charge for a new screen and go from there.
